Vina Aprilia. 12.05.211.00120. Sosiologi. Kontrol Sosial Mahasiswi Perokok (Studi Kasus Mahasiswi Perokok Universitas Trunojoyo Madura). Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana kontrol sosial dapat berpengaruh terhadap perilaku merokok mahasiswi Universitas Trunojoyo Madura. Penilaian masyarakat terhadap perilaku merokok mahasiswi dapat dikatakan kurang baik. Stigma masyarakat yang bernilai negatif mempengaruhi perilaku merokok mahasiswi. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah Mahasiswi Universitas Trunojoyo yang mengkonsumsi rokok dengan karakteristik yang telah ditetapkan oleh peneliti. Metode untuk memperoleh data pada penelitian ini menggunakan metode yang pada umumnya digunakan pada penelitian kualitatif yaitu melalui observasi, melakukan wawancara dan juga dokumentasi. Informan dipilih dengan metode purposive sampling. Teknik analisis menggunakan teknik Miles dan Huberman. Keabsahan data diperiksa melalui Triangulasi sumber. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Mahasiswi Universitas Trunojoyo Madura ditengah stigma masyarakat yang kurang baik mengenai perilaku merokok mahasiswi, tetap mengkonsumsi rokok meski dalam area tertentu. Alasan Mahasiswi merokok adalah karena faktor kebiasaan, ataupun karena ajakan teman. Jenis rokok yang paling banyak dikonsumsi ialah rokok dengan kadar Nikotin-Tar yang relatif rendah. Dan untuk intensitas merokok mahasiswi Universitas Trunojoyo dapat digolongkan menjadi tiga, yaitu perokok ringan, sedang dan perokok berat. Kata kunci: Kontrol Sosial, Rokok, Mahasiswi.

The purpose of this study was to find out how social control can affect the smoking behavior of female students of Trunojoyo University Madura. Society assessment of smoking behavior about female students can be said not good. The negative society stigma affects the female student's smoking behavior. Subjects in this study were students of Trunojoyo University who consumed cigarettes with the characteristics set by the researchers. This study is using methods commonly used in qualitative research to collect the data which is through observation, interview and documentation. The informant was chosen by purposive sampling method. Analytical techniques using Miles and Huberman techniques. The validity of the data is checked through source triangulation. The results showed that students of Trunojoyo Madura University in the middle of society stigma is less good regarding the behavior of student smokers, still consuming cigarettes though in certain area. The reason female students smoke is due to habit factor, or because of friend's invitation. The most common type of cigarettes is cigarettes with relatively low levels of Nikotin-Tar. And for the intensity of smoking behavior, students of Trunojoyo University can be classified into three, ie mild, moderate and heavy smokers. Keywords: Social Control, Cigarettes, Female student.
