Subsektor tanaman pangan yang terdiri dari komoditas padi, jagung, kedelai, kacang tanah, kacang hijau, ubi kayu dan ubi jalar merupakan sumber utama sektor pertanian dengan kontribusi PDRB yang cenderung meningkat di Kabupaten Bangkalan pada tahun 2015-2017. Akan tetapi kondisi tersebut berbanding terbalik dengan kondisi kesejahteraan penduduk, persentase penduduk miskin yang bekerja di sektor pertanian mencapai angka 56,64 persen pada tahun 2016. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu 1) Mengetahui komoditas basis dan non basis kecamatan pada subsektor tanaman pangan di Kabupaten Bangkalan serta 2) Mengidentifikasi dan menentukan peta komoditas unggulan kecamatan pada subsektor tanaman pangan di Kabupaten Bangkalan. Metode yang digunakan adalah analisis Location Quotient dan analisis Shift Share. Hasil penelitian yaitu komoditas basis subsektor tanaman pangan Kabupaten Bangkalan tahun 2013-2017 yaitu padi dan jagung dengan nilai LQ masing-masing (1,014) dan (1,022), sedangkan komoditas basis dan non basis tersebar di beberapa kecamatan. Komoditas unggulan subsektor tanaman pangan menurut kecamatan di Kabupaten Bangkalan pada tahun 2013-2017 yaitu padi, kacang hijau dan ubi jalar yang tersebar di beberapa kecamatan. The food crop sub-sector consisting of rice, corn, soybeans, peanuts, green beans, cassava and sweet potatoes is the main source of the agricultural sector with a contribution to GDP that tends to increase in Bangkalan Regency in 2015-2017. However, this condition is inversely proportional to the condition of the welfare of the population, the percentage of poor people working in the agricultural sector reached 56.64 percent in 2016. The purpose of this study is 1) Knowing the basic and non-base commodities in the food crop sub-sector in Bangkalan Regency and 2) Identify and determine the main commodities of the food crop sub-sector in Bangkalan Regency.
