Merokok adalah kegiatan yang sangat sering dijumpai, tak jarang seorang wanita terlihat menghisap rokok di berbagai tempat. Perilaku seorang wanita perokok menuai pro dan kontra oleh masyarakat, sebagian orang menganggap biasa dan sebagian akan mencela. Stigma negatif yang diberikan masyarakat telah memberikan sebuah goncangan pada wanita perokok yang telah memperlihatkan perilakunya. Akibatnya goncangan tersebut akan memunculkan konflik intrapersonal. Konflik intrapersonal yang dirasakan menimbulkan adanya gap antara seorang wanita perokok dengan masyarakat. Hal ini membuat seorang wanita perokok membangun sebuah usaha penyesuaian sosial agar dapat diterima di masyarakat. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan metode analisis regresi linier sederhana. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah purposive sampling dengan sampel sebanyak 272 wanita perokok di Kota Surabaya yang merokok kurang dari 3 tahun. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan skala likert dengan dua jenis skala yaitu skala konflik intrapersonal dan skala penyesuaian sosial. Pada variabel konflik intrapersonal diungkapkan mengacu pada indikator yang dikemukakan Luthansa (dalam Wijono 2010). Variabel penyesuaian sosial diungkapkan mengacu pada aspek yang dikemukakan Schneiders (2014). Metode analisis data dengan bantuan program SPSS 23.0 for Windows. Hasil penelitian ini memiliki hasil uji regresi linier sederhana dengan nilai F hitung = 55,524 dengan signifikansi 0,000 (kurang dari atau < 0,05) yang berarti hipotesis diterima yaitu terdapat pengaruh konflik intrapersonal terhadap penyesuaian sosial pada wanita perokok. Nilai koefisien korelasi (r) sebesar 0,697 artinya terdapat korelasi dengan kategori kuat. Nilai koefisien determinasi (R Square) sebesar 0,486 (48,6%), nilai tersebut merupakan kontribusi yang disumbangkan variabel konflik intrapersonal terhadap variabel penyesuaian sosial. Smoking is an activity that is very often encountered, it is not uncommon for a woman to be seen smoking cigarettes in various places. The behavior of a woman smoker reaps pros and cons by society, some people think it is normal and some will criticize. The negative labelling given by society has made a shock to female smokers who have shown their behavior. As a result, these shocks will create intrapersonal conflicts. The perceived intrapersonal conflict creates a gap between a woman smoker and society. This makes a woman who smokes build a social adjustment effort so that she can be accepted in society. The approach used in this research is quantitative with a simple linear regression analysis method. The data collection technique in this study was purposive sampling with a sample of 272 female smokers in the city of Surabaya who had not smoked for 3 years. The data collection method uses a Likert scale with two types of scales, namely the intrapersonal conflict scale and the social adjustment scale. In the intrapersonal conflict variable, is used by referring to the indicators presented by Luthans (in Wijono 2010). The social adjustment variable is disclosed by referring to the aspects proposed by Schneiders (2014). Methods of data analysis with the help of the SPSS 23.0 for Windows program. The results of this study have simple linear regression test results with a value of F count = 55.524 with a significance of 0.000 (less than or <0.05), which means that the Ho hypothesis is accepted, that is, there is an effect of intrapersonal conflict on social adjustment in female smokers. The correlation coefficient (r) of 0.697 can be identified that there is a strong correlation. The coefficient of determination (R Square) is 0.486 (48.6%), where this value is the contribution that the intrapersonal conflict variable contributes to the social adjustment variable.
