[ Anotasi Abstrak ]
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh financial technology, self control, dan gaya hidup terhadap perilaku keuangan mahasiswa dalam penggunaan Shopee Paylater. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif asosiatif. Data dikumpulkan melalui penyebaran kuesioner kepada 97 responden mahasiswa Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis Universitas Trunodjoyo Madura yang menggunakan Shopee Paylater. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah Structural Equation Modeling berbasis Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS). Hasil penelitian membuktikanahwa financial technology, self control, dan gaya hidup berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap perilaku keuangan mahasiswa. Variabel self control memiliki pengaruh yang paling dominan dibandingkan variabel lainnya. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa perilaku keuangan mahasiswa akan semakin baik apabila didukung oleh pemanfaatan teknologi keuangan yang tepat, pengendalian diri yang baik, serta gaya hidup yang bijak. Oleh karena itu, mahasiswa diharapkan mampu menggunakan layanan paylater secara lebih bijaksana agar terhindar dari perilaku konsumtif.

This study aims to examine the influence of financial technology, self-control, and lifestyle on the financial behavior of students regarding the use of Shopee Paylater. This study employs an associative quantitative approach. Data were collected through the distribution of a questionnaire to 97 student respondents from the Faculty of Economics and Business at Trunodjoyo University who use Shopee Paylater. The data analysis technique used was Structural Equation Modeling based on Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS). The results of the study demonstrate that financial technology, self-control, and lifestyle have a positive and significant influence on students’ financial behavior. The self control variable has the most dominant influence compared to the other variables. Based on these results, it can be concluded that students’ financial behavior will improve if supported by the use of appropriate financial technology, good self control, and a wise lifestyle. Therefore, students are expected to use paylater services more wisely to avoid consumptive behavior.
