Di Kabupaten Nganjuk, sektor pertanian telah menjadi sektor unggulan selama beberapa tahun terakhir, namun kontribusinya semakin menurun. Sehubungan dengan hal ini maka pemerintah daerah seharusnya mulai mengidentifikasi sektor-sektor lain yang dapat didorong untuk menjadi sektor unggulan alternatif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi penyebab penurunan kontribusi sektor pertanian dan menentukan sektor unggulan non pertanian di Kabupaten Nganjuk. Analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Analisis Deskriptif, Location Quotion (LQ), Multipplier Effect (ME) dan Tipologi Klassen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penurunan sektor pertanian disebabkan adanya penurunan produktivitas komoditas pertanian unggulan dan karakteristik kondisi petani. Sedangkan sektor unggulan non pertanian di Kabupaten Nganjuk adalah sektor Pengadaan Air, Pengelolaan Sampah, Limbah dan Daur Ulang dan Jasa Lainnya. In Nganjuk, the agricultural sector has been the dominant sector in recent years, but its share has declined. In connection with this, the Local Government should begin to identify other sectors that can be driven to be the alternative leading sectors. This study aims to identify the cause of the decline in the contribution of agriculture and non-agricultural determine the dominant sector in Nganjuk. The analysis used in this research is descriptive analysis, Location Quotion (LQ), Multipplier Effect (ME) and Typology Klassen. The results showed that the decline in the agricultural sector due to a decrease in productivity of agricultural commodities and the excellent characteristics of the condition of farmers.
